Continued from the Main Page: The Sims 3 Creator's Camp

Other new build mode aspects? Objects may now be placed along diagonal walls. Floor tiles and walls can be edited with the color wheel and texture library. The possibilities are endless!
Another cool new feature is the fact that fences can now be placed on hilly areas. They rise with the ground so now your home can be surrounded with a fence, whether you live on a hill or not!
Basically, there are tons of things to do now in build mode! You'll just have to buy the game and explore all the possibilities.
Playing the game itself is sure to be a blast, read along to find some awesome new things coming with the game.
First off, you can set the life span for your Sims to be 25 days, 95 days, 200 days, 1,000 days, or you can just turn aging off.
Pregnant Sims get paid vacation from work, and fathers will get paid vacation once the baby is born. Babies can be born at home or in a hospital.
Babies will now be wrapped in blankets instead of only having a diaper.
Toddlers can be carried around the city by adults. Children, however, may walk around the city alone. You can follow your children to school and they may even get detention! And if you hate entertaining the kids' friends, then you'll like this next feature, kids must ask for permission before bringing friends home from school!
Teenagers will go to school an hour longer then they did in the Sims 2. And they can still get part time jobs.
There are no more nannies, instead there are babysitters who look the age of a young adult. Another person you can hire is the magician who is sure to entertain the children at parties!
Bills come daily instead of twice a week, so look out for that!
There are some actions that you can set a time for how long they will last, and some actions will tell you when the action will be done with.
But one thing I am really looking forward to is looking up at the Sim sky and seeing the sun and moon move, as well as looking at the four different skies, dawn, day, dusk, and night.
Many new things have been put in this game and there will be a ton to explore once it comes out, so be sure to pick up a copy of The Sims 3.

Delay of Game?
by: Bologna | edited by: Bologna

There has been a lot of talk about The Sims 3 being delayed and it seems as if it is official.
While no date other then February 20th has been given out, many sites have taken down the release date completely and articles have been posting stating that EA is "evaluating the launch window" and that we can expect more information soon to come.
It seems that more information will be released on February 3rd. Simmers should not expect The Sims 3 on shelves by February 20th.
