The Sims 3 Creators Camp
by: Bologna | edited by: Bologna

Be among the first to create custom content for the Sims 3!
That was the headline in an invitation sent out to select few who were invited to the Sims 3 Creator’s Camp.
The camp took place January 12-16, and many site owners and content creators showed up to create homes, objects, movies and more. Many who went to the camp posted blogs about the camp, giving out some details on the game. Here’s what we now know, thanks to TheSidDog, EdenStyle, and The Sims Resource.
Lets first discuss Create-a-Sim. Like we have known, Sims can have up to five character traits, however you do not need to give them five, and they can have less if you so choose. Should you want a twin of your Sim, there will be a Create-a-Twin tool that can make an identical twin of any Sim you choose.
Male Sims may wear makeup if you wish, and facial paint can be customized by changing the colors of any pattern you choose.
Do you like being able to have a different hair style for each clothing category? Because that feature is not going away with the Sims 3, you’ll still have that option. Another thing you will find when dressing your Sims, are many accessories to choose from. Things such as socks, gloves, glasses, jewelry, even shoes can be changed!
While you can not buy clothes, you can have up to three different outfits for a single Sim.
Those are just a few of the options that come with CAS.
Now what about build mode? Many new things will be available with the Sims 3.
There will be a roof height slider tool, so you can now change the height of your roof without cheats. Stairs can vary in width, but can be as wide as 8 tiles! (To continue reading this article, see the News Page)
