Marsha Makes a Phone Call

It was not long ago when little Marsha wandered the streets, making friends with all sim children. One day, however, young Marsha finally did something good with her rather annoying hobby! Many knew Marsha as a young little girl who was brought home by their Sim children just to repeatedly call them days later. Well,that all changed, Marsha no longer had time to make those petty little phone calls, for one day she was too busy using her talent to save the world!
Well actually the pets. Not long ago in these winter months, a stray cat showed up at Marsha's door, and she begged her parents to let her keep it. They said yes, and Marsha was grateful. But just a few days later, another stray pet was walking down Marsha's street. It was then that Marsha decided to do something about it.
She cleaned out the shed in her back yard and got to work placing hand made cages and small wire fences in the shed. Then she went out through the neighborhood in search of helpless animals. Within the first week she had four animals in her shed, she kept them fed and everything.
Then she began her phone calls. Marsha called neighbors and friends, relatives and class mates, asking them to spread the word about some strays looking for a home. She posted and handed out fliers. Eventually she got all four animals into good homes.
Marsha, now a teen, continues her work of helping strays. She even has the local animal shelter on her side, they themselves are too packed during this cold season to take in so many extra animals, but they do their part and give pet food to her so she doesn't have to spend her own money; they also come by weekly to check out all new animals for health problems. No animal stays in Marsha's shed too longer either, for each evening a person or two will stop by in search of a new pet.
Who would have thought that this one young girls annoying habit could turn into a wonderful hobby.
